Easter treat
This year we treated the rats to yoghurt Easter eggs from the pet store. Now they were rather big and foil wrapped so instead we popped a few bits in the box it came in. Well after they stuck their heads in they swiftly lost interest (at least until none of us were watching!).

Mortimer and Wheeler in Tissue Box Squish
The humble tissue box can fit at least two rats but only with some special rat teeth modifications.

Cage clean and Tom went a bit mad adding paper for them to make their space comfy.
So Wheeler had no choice but to tidy!
Some ten hours later (I'm going to assume he slept for most of that):
but then 30 minutes later (promise there are two rats in that hammock!)
Hanging out on the couch
When the rats come out they like to hide under my blankets but for their birthday back in November I gave them a rat house. What these pictures don't show is Wheeler's love for dragging in the tunnels so the whole thing is blocked off from the outside world.
