Can we play?

The sight I see when I walk too close to the cage or have some tasty food on hand - note James and Kirk hiding in the sticks and watching closely!

The Amazing Bendy Rat

A favourite place to sit is at the top of the sputnik - James was trying to climb inside when he managed to get himself in a silly position.

Rats in a Teapot

Kirk and Tiberius is a teapot. So much cuter than a pig in a teacup.

Ickle Rats

No you aren't seeing another photo of Horatio this is in fact our little new rat Kirk (though like his doppelganger he is the most chicken of the three)
This is James - not a great photo but it gives a good idea of just how small our new boys are (that or Tom really is a giant). His markings make him look like he's wearing a brown rat fur coat.
Raleigh and Nelson (our original rats) are both wondering what's going on.
Tiberius has been the most friendly so far - even letting Tom tickle his tummy- but he's been a little camera shy so far.

We've got a houseful of guests

We've got a houseful of guests. Furry, betailed, whiskery, curious houseguests.

There's Walter who Minnie describes as the "fat bottomed rat"

Then his brother Raleigh who hasn't been pronounced fat bottomed but is not exactly svelte in the posterior

Horatio who is not so keen on the girls being so keen on him and hides out between their waking hours.

Nelson who is blind in one eye (he's just been eye-gooed here). He's just so friendly and lovely.

Oh and the latest acquisition... Teeny cutie pie Bothwell.

They may be small but it requires a fast eye and hand when they all come out to play...

How many rats can you see?

I can see 5 - on the left Raleigh and Nelson, Bothwell is in the tube while Walter is at the door and it's Horatio's tail!

Ratty Riot Defences

The boys heard about the riots down south and decided to take precautions!
