Getting five rats to pose is tricky but they all come to the door when they think the nom will be tasty, tasty nom.

The question we are all asking - can the rats dance?

While Wheeler took an interest and even chased the bubbles Mortimer remained completely unimpressed and just ignored them.

Good morning Mortimer and Wheeler. Did you have a nice sleep?

Yes I think you did.

Night Night

The rats have been quite happy on their first night. They have been out to play, Wheeler has interacted with the small children, made a bid for freedom and hid happily in the rat sack.

Mortimer has been a bit quieter and wisely waited til the kids went to bed before coming out of the safety of his cage.

They have been eating well- Yesterday they ate broccoli, carrot and baby sweetcorn, apple and a banana chip treat each.

Today they have had more broccoli and baby sweetcorn as well as a third of a ripe banana between them and a cherry tomato each. That was very popular!

There was a little sneezing yesterday but much less today. Mortimer was surprized when I came back in last night after lights out and looked like he had been caught with one paw in the sweety jar.

I'm off to play with them.
